SAMSARA SHIPPING in Mumbai seeks a Master Mariner to lead shipping agency operations and frontline port activities. You will coordinate with principals, allocate capacity to optimize revenue, and ensure compliance with government bodies and service standards.

You will supervise the team, drive procedural improvements, and uphold Samsara's impeccable service quality to maximize port efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Master Mariner with experience in Bulk/Break Bulk/Tanker/Container ops.

Role & responsibilities

The candidate should have sailed as a Master Mariner and must have relevant experience handling Bulk/ Break Bulk/ Tanker / Container operations.

Must be able to effectively manage people and external agencies.

Job responsibilities include to organize and control Shipping Agency Operations activities, co-ordination with principals, capacity allocation to optimize revenue, liasoning with Govt bodies, problem solving, improving operational procedures, service innovation, control of all operations to ensure customer satisfaction, office administration.

The job holder is further expected to effectively manage and provide guidance to the team, with an emphasis on near-zero tolerance for service failures and accentuating the importance of strict adherence to Samsaras impeccable service standards, using his best endeavours to maximize the level of efficiency of the port operations and team.
