Job summary

atsMantra is seeking an experienced MDM Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise Master Data Management solutions in Hyderabad. You will define end-to-end MDM architecture, master data models, hierarchies and data domains while leading implementations across multiple domains such as Customer, Product, and Location.

The role requires strong MDM, data governance and data quality expertise, with hands-on experience on SAP MDG, Profisee or IBM MDM, and integration with ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Management / MDM.
• Strong experience in MDM Architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major MDM platform such as SAP MDG, Profisee or IBM MDM.
• Experience with enterprise data governance, data quality and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and design end-to-end MDM architecture aligned with business strategy.
• Design Master Data Models, hierarchies, relationships, rules and data domains.
• Lead MDM implementations across Customer, Product, Supplier, Vendor, Material and Location domains.
• Define data governance, data quality, stewardship and ownership frameworks.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced MDM Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise Master Data Management solutions. The candidate should have strong experience in MDM architecture, data modeling, master data governance, integration, data quality, and enterprise data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design end-to-end MDM architecture aligned with business and enterprise data strategy.
• Design Master Data Models, hierarchies, relationships, business rules, and data domains.
• Lead MDM implementations across domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, Vendor, Material, and Location.
• Define data governance, data quality, data stewardship, and data ownership frameworks.
• Design integration architecture between MDM platforms and enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, CRM, ERP, Data Lake, APIs, and downstream systems.
• Define data acquisition, validation, cleansing, matching, merging, survivorship, and golden-record strategies.
• Work with business, data governance, application, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions.
• Define integration patterns, APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time/batch data flows.
• Provide technical leadership for MDM implementation, migration, upgrades, and production support.
• Establish standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and data governance.
• Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to development and implementation teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, consistency, and reusability across the enterprise.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Management / MDM.
• Strong experience in MDM Architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major MDM platform:
• SAP MDG
• Profisee
• IBM MDM / other enterprise MDM platforms
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts and methodologies.
• Expertise in Data Modeling, Data Governance and Data Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Match & Merge, Survivorship, Hierarchies and Golden Record concepts.
• Experience in MDM integration with ERP/CRM and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, ETL/ELT and integration architecture.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Good understanding of cloud and modern data architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Informatica IDMC / IICS.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Knowledge of Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Big Data architecture.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Oracle ERP or other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Data Catalog, Metadata Management and Data Lineage.
• Experience in defining enterprise-wide MDM strategy and roadmap.
