Job summary

Cognex Corporation in India is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional to enable order flow and customer onboarding. You will process SAP/customer data, apply pricing in partner portals, and coordinate with Sales to resolve order discrepancies.

Key tasks include managing POs, booking accuracy, quote creation for RFQs and high-volume OEMs, and providing Salesforce CPQ support to ensure smooth order fulfillment and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years supporting Sales organization.
• Inside Sales experience a plus.
• Experience with CRM/CPQ systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customers in SAP based on Zendesk tickets.
• Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal.
• Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce.
• Ensure clean and timely booking of customer POs, including auditing quotations.
• Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist.
• Review, interpret, and reconcile purchase orders to Cognex quotations and resolve discrepancies.
• Create quotes for RFQs and high-volume OEMs with pre-approved pricing.
• Assist fast-turn opportunities requiring expedited shipments.
• Liaise between Order Management, Sales, and customers when in-country assistance is needed.
• Provide user experience support in Salesforce.

Essential Functions

Set up new customers in SAP based on Zendesk ticket submitted by Sales Complete supplier forms submitted by new customers Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal as promotional code Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce Ensure clean and timely booking of customer purchase orders, including: Proactively audit open quotations for pre-booking accuracy Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist Review, interpret, and reconcile customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and work with Sales to resolve any discrepancies (units, products, pricing) Attach customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and submit back to Order Management Specialist Create quotes in the following exception-based circumstances: In response to RFQs for known BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers In response to received purchase orders that are not associated with an existing quote for BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers To facilitate fast-turn opportunities requiring expedited / UPS RED / next day shipment Exercise judgment in interpreting and implementing operating practices to resolve exceptions. Act as liaison between Order Management, Sales, and customers regarding order status when in-country assistance is required Assist in providing user experience support in Salesforce
