Job summary

Fragomen is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise MDM solutions. The role emphasizes translating data governance requirements into scalable data models, rules, and workflows, with hands-on SQL and API integration experience.

You will collaborate with data stewards, architects, analysts, and application teams to deliver robust MDM across domains, including customer, organization, product, and reference data.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of total IT experience with at least 3 years in MDM development.
• Experience with Profisee or comparable MDM platforms.
• Strong SQL skills including complex queries, joins, CTEs, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing or consuming REST or SOAP APIs and integrating data systems.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and golden records.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support MDM solutions across domains (customer, product, supplier, reference data).
• Create and maintain MDM data models, mappings, and survivorship rules.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise MDM solutions. The successful candidate will translate business and data-governance requirements into scalable data models, business rules, matching and survivorship logic, workflows, and system integrations.

This role requires strong hands‑on SQL skills, practical API integration experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with data stewards, architects, analysts, business stakeholders, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support MDM solutions across domains such as customer, organization, product, supplier, and reference data.
• Create and maintain MDM data models, entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, validation rules, workflows, and role‑based access controls.
• Design and optimize data‑cleansing, matching, merging, deduplication, and survivorship rules to create accurate golden records.
• Integrate MDM solutions with ETL/ELT pipelines, relational databases, data warehouses, reporting platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP API integrations between the MDM platform and upstream or downstream systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable MDM solutions.
• Implement MDM standards, data‑quality controls, governance policies, and development best practices.
• Monitor the performance, scalability, availability, and reliability of MDM and data‑integration processes.
• Investigate MDM processing, data‑synchronization, data‑quality, and integration issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Perform log analysis and system monitoring using tools such as Splunk.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release planning, deployment, environment management, and production support.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, support documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge‑transfer materials.

Technical Skill: -

• 5–7 years of total professional IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands‑on MDM development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with an enterprise MDM platform. Experience with Profisee is preferred; experience with comparable MDM platforms will also be considered.
• Strong proficiency in T‑SQL or SQL, including complex queries, joins, common table expressions, stored procedures, functions, data validation, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing or consuming APIs, including REST or SOAP services, JSON or XML payloads, authentication, exception handling, and integration troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts, including data quality, data governance, reference data, metadata, golden records, hierarchy management, match/merge, and survivorship.
• Experience integrating data across relational databases, enterprise applications, and data platforms using ETL/ELT or other integration approaches.
• Experience designing and supporting data‑stewardship workflows and business validation processes.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, source control, and change‑management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Skill: -

• Hands‑on experience with Profisee MDM, including data modelling, business rules, workflows, matching, survivorship, security, and integration services.
• Experience with Splunk or a comparable platform for log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft‑based data‑integration technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.
