A leading outdoor adventure organization is seeking creative and hard-working interns who are passionate about content creation and the outdoors. Interns will engage in writing short and long-form content, management of social media, and event coordination. This hybrid internship offers a monthly stipend and potential full-time positions post-internship. Bangalore Adventure School aka BASCOOL is looking for creative, hard-working & adventurous interns with a passion for the outdoors and content creation. This is a unique opportunity for someone recently out of college or a college student who will graduate soon and is looking to further advance their skills in Content Writing, Marketing, Social Media, New Media, Graphic Design, Copywriting, & more!

All interns will have ample opportunities to go trekking, rappelling, camping, rock climbing, canyoning, caving, backpacking, moutaineering & more. While you’re here, you are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to familiarize yourself with all of the best outdoor adventures that BASCOOL has to offer.

We believe that the more you familiarize yourself with these experiences, the better you’ll be at selling them. Lucky for you because, all we sell is FUN!

BASCOOL Internship Compensation

Yes, this is a paid internship!

You will be compensated while you are here learning more than they can teach you in college.

Here is how our interns are compensated:

• 3000 INR monthly stipend for a fresher.
• Upto 5000 INR monthly stipend if you have prior experience in Content Writing / Marketing
• Opportunity to earn more by leading trips.
• FREE tent camping at BASCOOL campsite for the duration of your internship.

To be successful, applicants must:

• Be trustworthy as they will be publishing content to large audiences on behalf of Bangalore Adventure School.
• Be good at communicating with potential clients to earn their business
• Collaborate with the marketing team to put out the highest quality content.
• Understand that there needs to be purpose and intent behind all of their work.
• Be creative in producing content and finding new ways to promote our courses, trips and events.
• Be adaptable to changing schedules, the needs of our clients, and the needs of the marketing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Copy Writing– Writing engaging and entertaining short-form content for posters, social media, ADs, and more.
• Content Writing – Composing long-form contents for blogs, SEO focused articles, webpages and more
• Event Coordination – creating promotions to maximize event attendance and executing day-of-tasks.
• Strategy Implementation– Managing and maintaining content calendars to execute sales initiatives.
• Social Media Management – Operating social media accounts for multiple brands on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Data Analysis– Preparing and analyzing reports on social media metrics, website analytics, and review site rankings
• Guest Service– Interacting with guests on a personal level to ensure they enjoyed their experience.
• Graphic Design – Crafting visually impactful designs for print projects, event fliers, social media, and websites.

What Next After completion of Internship?

There is high possibility that some of the interns will be absorbed into BASCOOL as full-time employees. So, if you live in a city other than Bangalore but are open for relocation for a full-time job, please do apply and we can help you with accomodation as well.

Work from Home or In-Office?

This is a hybrid position – Weekly 1-2 days in office and the rest of the days work remotely. Our office is in BTM 2nd Stage. Hence, preference is for someone who is living in Bangalore. But at the same time, the position is open for folks from other cities as well.

Examples of creative work could be articles you’ve written, posters you’ve created, videos you’ve edited, pictures you’ve drawn, or even photos you’ve taken, . Show us your potential!
