Job Summary

The Quant Analytics Manager role is part of the Business Banking Marketing Analytics team within CCB Data & Analytics organization. This dynamic position will be focused on leading the Marketing Analytics India team and play a significant role in helping the Business with data driven solutions. This will require a strong understanding of the end-to-end business needs and alignment to corresponding technical capabilities. This is a high exposure role that offers frequent opportunities to work directly with presidents, general managers.

Job Responsibilities

This is a vital hands-on role so were looking for exceptionally creative, ambitious, "data curious" thinkers who can help to extract true business value from data. A typical day might include:Interact with the stakeholders to understand business needs and work closely with them to come up with the efficient solutions.Understanding the problem statement/ use cases and writing Sql Codes/Stored procedures to capture data in the needed format and creating story out of it and thereby providing data driven solutions.Creating visually appealing interactive dashboards to demonstrate the the outcomesEnsure codes are designed efficiently to maximize performance and consistency of the environment. Enhance ad-hoc reporting capabilities for broad user communityEnsure the reporting elements are organized, clearly labeled, and assigned meaningful descriptions. Ensure commonly used formulas and variables are built into reporting universeEnsure all the reporting elements are automated and executing in controlled environment and has appropriate documentation in Bitbucket repositoryPro-actively identify key growth areas and opportunities and communicate recommendations to the leadership team and various teams across the firm to influence and fine-tune our strategies.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

Bachelors / Masters Degree in quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information system, or mathematics with 10 years of experience in Data Transformation and Visualization Flexibility/adaptability, ability to listen and defend or change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage and deliver in an innovation-operated and fast-paced environmentShould have a very good understanding of IT processes and databases. Should be able to work directly with Stakeholders/Partners and contribute in building controls reporting suite. Have a demonstrated ability to think both independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions that solve business problems, being diligent in the detail while maintaining focus on broader purpose and business objectivesLeadership managed ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently with relevant stakeholders to influence and gain buy-in across various job functions. Flexibility/adaptability, ability to listen and defend or change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensusSuperior judgment to mitigate risk, and to foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated and trends are anticipated and identifiedExperience in wrangling large, complex datasets, strong database skills and ability to write, optimize and tune complex SQL scripts. Experience delivering analytics solutions under strict timelines quick turn-aroundHands-on experience writing code and automating processes to source, transform and analyze data from multiple sources including structured and unstructured data preferred. Hands-on experience with standard data analytics tools and technologies (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx)

Previously worked in an insights function at a financial services firm or consulting firm supporting Financial firms. Proven track record in solving business problems through fact-based and scientific analytics, like to focus on solving problemsHave a strong grasp of big data disciplines, AWS, Agile (scrum) methodologies, and new technologies.
