Job summary

TSMG Holding seeks a City and Country Expert to ensure transit data accuracy in Delhi, leveraging local knowledge to improve country-level data quality and compliance with regulations. You will work with internal teams and external partners to verify mapping data and support outage management.

You bring 1–3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and practical programming knowledge (Python/Java/C#/C++), plus familiarity with GIS tools to drive data-driven decisions in a fast-changing

• Good communication skills in English and local language.
• Tech-savvy with basic programming knowledge (Python, Java, C#, or C++).
• Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools.
• Strong knowledge of local transit systems, traffic laws, and landmarks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals
• Create city-level transit data policies based on local market needs and regulations
• Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues
• Improve transit data models using local knowledge of transportation systems
• Validate and review updated transit data
• Edit and maintain different types of transit data
• Resolve complex mapping and transit data issues
• Support Program Managers in communication with data providers and partners
• Conduct field research to verify transit information and user issues
• Support outage and alert management for assigned cities
• Manage city-specific data pipelines using internal platforms and basic programming skills
• Create country-specific guideline documents for operations teams
• Provide local expertise for mapping policies and regional regulations
• Support mapping operations with knowledge of traffic laws, landmarks, and political mapping formats
• Review and troubleshoot mapping and operational issues
• Act as a point of contact for country-specific mapping questions
• Perform quality audits and identify operational errors
• Review imported mapping data before system integration
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure correct political and regional formats are applied
