Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair internal factory equipment.
• Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool‑making duties.
• Plan, coordinate and execute departmental operations while maintaining autonomy within established policies.
• Modify procedures and practices to meet quality, volume and timeliness standards.
• Perform inspections and calibration of machinery.
• Plan and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead predictive maintenance activities for critical equipment.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
• Provide subject‑matter expert training to team members.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CNC machines including heavy boring, milling, horizontal and vertical turning, and gantry type machines (PAMA, HNK, Waco).
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as rolling machines, oxy‑cutting, shot blasting, furnaces, TIG & MIG welding, gauging, SAW and painting facilities.
• Familiarity with hydrostatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems of machines.
• Understanding of maintenance management practices and improvement.
• Problem‑solving methodology and spare‑parts planning.
• Knowledge of basic EHS guidelines, environmental aspects, and risk related to machine inspection and chemical management.
• Ability to interpret MSDS for associated chemicals.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety protocols.
• Experience with Siemens CNC 840 D‑SL systems.
