Job summary

DMart in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations leader to oversee end-to-end production across multiple plants, drive productivity, quality, and efficiency, and align manufacturing strategies with business objectives.

You will lead production planning with Supply Chain and Sales, drive continuous improvements, manage costs, maintain safety, and build high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple plants, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational business objectives.
• Ensure achievement of production targets, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor plant performance through KPIs, production reports, and operational reviews.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and other resources.
• Develop and implement production plans in coordination with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams.
• Ensure timely production and delivery as per business requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Drive automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Minimize downtime, wastage, and production losses.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain product quality.
• Implement quality management systems and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Ensure customer complaints and quality deviations are addressed effectively.
