Job summary

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence professional to drive ME Index initiatives across sites, standardize processes, and enable data-driven decision making. The role focuses on Lean manufacturing, digital dashboards, and governance of data quality.

You will lead cross-functional teams, operate MIS for productivity and quality metrics, and mentor continuous improvement culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's in mechanical or electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 37 years’ experience in Operational/Business/Manufacturing Excellence.
• Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt Certification.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, SAP/ERP, Minitab, SQL, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Manufacturing Excellence (ME Index) initiatives across all manufacturing locations.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement productivity improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Facilitate Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, Waste Elimination, Line Balancing, and Process Optimization.
• Drive structured problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis for operational challenges.
• Monitor and track improvement initiatives to ensure sustainable results and benefits realization.
• Develop and deploy best practices to improve manufacturing performance across plants.
• Own and manage Manufacturing Excellence MIS covering productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and improvement metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and performance reports for leadership review.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and governance of manufacturing data across locations.
• Analyze data trends and generate actionable insights to support business decision-making.
• Establish systems for data collection, validation, visualization, and reporting.
• Drive digitization of reports and automate performance-monitoring systems using analytics tools.
• Conduct training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions across manufacturing sites.
• Facilitate employee involvement programs and continuous improvement culture development.
• Support cross-functional teams in executing improvement and transformation projects.
• Drive change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption of new processes and systems.

The Manufacturing Excellence function is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, safety, delivery performance, and overall operational excellence. Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Master/ bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering

Work Experience: Minimum 37 years’ experience in Operational/Business/Manufacturing Excellence

Must hold Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt Certification
