Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Karnataka seeks an experienced Manual Validation Engineer to author, execute and validate test cases against the defined test strategy, ensuring compliance with requirements.

You will develop functional and non-functional tests, report defects, contribute to test reports, and coordinate with project teams to complete testing per schedule. Strong communication and analytical skills are required; exposure to the medical domain is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering required.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in manual testing lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge in automation, able to run automation test scripts.
• Experience in medical domain is a plus.

Mission/Position Headline:

Manual Validation Engineers who is responsible for test authoring , execution and validation of the product as per prescribed test strategy and design, and ensuring that the software application complies with implicit and explicit requirements.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Understand business needs, customer workflows, product and technical requirements, and consult leads to clarify testability and approach.
• Develop and execute test cases for functional and non-functional aspects of the product, based on requirements and test strategy.
• Report defects, support defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze impact of fixes.
• Create test reports including defect logging, test result logging, defect analysis, RCA.
• Coordinate test activities with project team and ensure test completion as per project schedule

Desired Experience:

• Strong in requirements analysis, use cases for the product functionalities.
• Strong in Designing/Authoring and optimizing the effective test cases by applying various test design techniques.
• Execute test cases in development cycle and in formal test phase.
• Explore and apply different test approaches for identifying s/w defects early in the product life cycle.
• Should be able to clarify all requirements obtained from end customers.
• Build value to the product from obtaining customer experience and give appropriate feedbacks.
• Basic knowledge in automation, able to run automation test scripts/ updating scripts if needed.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering required, or equivalent
• 5 to 8 years of experience in manual testing lifecycle.
