Job summary

AQM Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a Manual Test Engineer with hands-on SWIFT Payments experience in Banking & Financial Services to ensure end-to-end testing of payment applications.

You will perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT, design test cases, validate domestic and cross-border payments, and test channels like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI and SWIFT. The role also requires SQL data validation, API testing with Postman, and defect tracking with Jira/ALM.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SWIFT payments testing in Banking & Financial Services.
• Experience with SWIFT MT messages MT103/202/940/942/111/112.
• Proficient in SQL for backend validation and API testing using Postman.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
• Validate end-to-end payment processing for domestic and international payment transactions.
• Test payment channels including NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, Payment Gateway, SFMS, and SWIFT.
• Validate SWIFT MT message formats including MT103, MT202, MT940, MT942, MT111, and MT112.
• Understand and validate payment workflows involving cross-border payments, remittances, and fund transfers.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira, ALM, or similar defect management tools.
• Prepare test reports and collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Support UAT, production validation, and issue resolution.

Job Summary

• Hands‑on experience in SWIFT Payments Testing.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT MT messages (MT103, MT202, MT940, MT942, MT111, MT112).
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and SWIFT payment processing.
• Experience testing NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, Payment Gateway, and SFMS transactions.
• Good understanding of Banking & Financial Services domain.
• Experience with SQL for database validation.
• Hands‑on API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
