Job summary

AQM Technologies PVT LTD is urgently hiring for Manual Testers specializing in UPI payments within the banking domain. 1-5 years of total experience preferred. This role is based in Mumbai and requires work from office with hands-on API, SQL, and Linux-based validation.

Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, test case design, and defect tracking, along with collaboration with developers and business analysts to ensure release readiness. Banking/FinTech exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing of banking/payment apps.
• Experience in API testing using Postman and backend validation with SQL.

We are urgently hiring for Manual Testers - UPI Payments in banking domain.

Total experience : 1-5 years

Mode of Employment: Work from office

Relevant experience: UPI Payments with API Integration , SQL, Linux

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of banking and payment applications.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Validate UPI transaction flows including payment initiation, success/failure, refunds, reversals, and transaction status.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate request/response, status codes, headers, and payloads.
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
• Perform basic application/log validation using Linux commands.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and release validation.
• Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders for defect resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing Postman.
• Good understanding of UPI payment flows and transaction lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Good working knowledge of Linux commands and log analysis.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Sanity Testing.
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect life cycle, and test case design.
• Banking, FinTech, or Payments domain experience is preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience with UPI/NPCI payment systems.
• Knowledge of NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or other payment systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to Jira or similar defect management tools.
