Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Manual Test Engineer with 3-7 years of hands-on testing experience to join our QA team. You will analyze requirements, design detailed test cases, and execute manual testing across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

You will document defects, work with developers and BAs, perform various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT), and prepare reports with regular status updates.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.

Location: Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates on testing activities.

Required Skills:

• 3-7 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or ALM.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
