One of our partner companies is currently seeking a Manual QA Engineer in India.

In this role, you will develop and implement end-to-end test strategies to ensure the highest quality of web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with project teams to track and document quality initiatives, actively investigate and resolve product quality issues, and promote QA best practices across the organization to maintain high standards of excellence in delivered products.

Accountabilities:

1. Develop and define comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile applications, including selecting appropriate testing tools.
2. Execute testing to ensure products meet specifications and deliverables.
3. Track, document, and report on quality initiatives, ensuring clear communication of testing processes and results.
4. Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and meet product standards.
5. Act as a quality advocate, promoting QA best practices within teams and client interactions.
6. Engage with clients to understand requirements, set quality expectations, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications, including APIs.
2. 3+ years of experience establishing testing processes from scratch, including documentation.
3. Strong understanding of client-server architecture and SDLC testing theory.
4. Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and networking stacks (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSH).
5. Familiarity with scripting in modern programming languages and task estimation.
6. Upper-intermediate English proficiency in speaking and writing.
7. Proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute to test automation and ongoing learning.
