Job summary

Ascendion in Pune is seeking a Manual + Automation Tester to validate GenAI-powered Text-to-SQL features for pharma applications. You will design manual tests and build automated scripts to ensure regression coverage and accurate SQL outputs.

This role requires pharma domain experience and strong analytical abilities. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria, identify defects, and ensure quality aligns with regulatory standards in the pharma space.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience testing GenAI products, specifically Text-to-SQL solutions.
• Commercial pharma domain experience (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess AI output quality, not just functional correctness.

You'll own quality for AI-powered products in the pharma space. This role sits at the intersection of traditional QA and cutting-edge GenAI — specifically validating Text-to-SQL solutions that real users depend on to make decisions.
