Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual & Automation Tester with experience in testing web applications, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality. The candidate should have strong knowledge of manual testing, test case design, defect management, and basic automation using Playwright or Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test cases.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and UI/UX testing.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Selenium.
• Identify defects, log bugs, track issues, and validate fixes using Jira or similar tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend data using SQL.
• Execute cross-browser testing and verify application functionality and usability.
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and requirement traceability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and collaborate with developers and product teams.
• Support release validation and ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of black-box testing techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case preparation.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Selenium WebDriver.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Basic SQL/MySQL knowledge for data validation.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
