Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/CloudOps Engineer in Gurugram to lead CI/CD, release management, and cloud infrastructure initiatives. The role covers automation, Linux administration, and production support across AWS and GCP environments.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining pipelines, provisioning cloud resources, managing repositories, and implementing observability with leading tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in release planning, deployments, and environment management.
• Proficiency with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Automation of infrastructure using scripting and IaC (Terraform).
• Linux server administration including patching and troubleshooting.
• Experience with code repositories, branching, and release processes.
• Knowledge of artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus).
• Experience deploying to Tomcat/JBoss/Nginx and web servers.
• Experience monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Datadog).

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in AWS, GCP, DevOps toolchains, cloud provisioning, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and enterprise release management.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git‑based repositories.
• Plan and execute application releases, deployments, and environment management activities.
• Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and scripting technologies.
• Administer Linux servers and perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Manage source code repositories, branching, merging, tagging, and release processes.
• Configure and maintain artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory and Sonatype Nexus.
• Deploy and support applications on Tomcat, JBoss, Nginx, and web server environments.

Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 2 or above, relevant cloud and infrastructure certifications, IAF andoror industry certifications such as TOGAF 9 or equivalent.
