Responsibilities

• Track and monitor cash across bank accounts and plan cash flows for operations and treasury activities.
• Analyze cash inflows and outflows, identifying liquidity risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
• Optimize cost of funds and cash utilization by planning funds, utilization, and short-term loan requirements; drawdowns and rate comparison.
• Prepare bank credit monitoring data and projections for borrowing from lenders.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations, covenants and internal policies; manage treasury processes and records.
• Coordinate approvals and execution of fund transfers; ensure timely loan, interest, and statutory repayments.
• Prepare timely treasury reports such as cost of funds, MIS for ALCO/RBI, and other stakeholder documentation.
• Coordinate with banks, rating agencies, CA firms for treasury activities.
• Work with internal and external teams to resolve issues and support audits.
• Handle treasury MIS, bank compliances, and miscellaneous treasury operations.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Tracking and monitoring cash in various bank accounts, and planning cash flows for business operations and Treasury activities. Analyze cash inflows and outflows, identifying potential liquidity risks, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
• Optimize cost of funds & cash utilization by efficiently managing funds planning and utilization, and requirement of short-term loans. Planning short-term loan drawdowns, taking and comparing interest rates from banks for loan drawdowns, and executing drawdown, rollover, and repayment of loans.
• Prepare bank credit monitoring data, projections, etc essential for borrowing from lenders.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, borrowing covenants, internal policies, and industry best practices. Own, manage and track various Treasury processes and activities like End-use certification, Bank guarantees, etc. Ensuring proper records management.
• Managing approvals and execution of fund transfers in a timely manner. Ensuring timely loan, interest, and statutory repayments.
• Manage and prepare accurate and timely treasury reports like cost of funds, reporting to Tokyo, financial statements, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders, rating agency, as well as regulatory reporting. Preparation of MIS for ALCO/RBI reports.
• Co-ordinate with various external stakeholders like banks, rating agencies, and CA firms for treasury related activities.
• Work closely with various teams and resolve issues with various stakeholders, both external & internal.
• Managing accounting entries for treasury transactions. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial audits and examinations, providing necessary information and supporting documentation.
• Other miscellaneous activities related to treasury MIS, bank-related compliances, and treasury operations.
