Job summary

Flex is seeking a Manager- Testing in Sriperumbudur to lead test development teams and partner with customers and design teams to deliver robust test solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Software Engineering or related field, with a Master’s or MBA preferred and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Medical insurance and PTO are provided, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and team business to Test Development Engineering team(s).
• Work with the customer and design team to comprehend product test requirements.
• Work closely with Design Engineers to comprehend product functionality.
• Ensure safety of operator.
• Comprehend interaction between software / Hardware / Fixturing / Test environment.
• Provide guidance on automation solutions.
• Oversee resource budgeting, allocation, review, and approval.
• Track projects, progress, risks, and performance through regular reviews.
• Develop and maintain control systems, reports to measure progress and identify problems.
• Participate in design input, product architecture, feasibility, and design output technical reviews.
• Aid and provide guidance in the development of Test engineering plans.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified team.
• Guide or sponsor continuous improvement projects.

Job Summary

• Aid and provide guidance in the development of Test engineering plans.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated team and workforce.
• Guide or sponsor continuous improvement projects and/or segment or site initiatives.
