Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in India is seeking a technology consultant to lead AI transformation initiatives, translate business goals into pragmatic technology roadmaps, and oversee end-to-end engagements from diagnosis to implementation. A&M values strong problem-solving, storytelling, and client-facing skills; 8–10 years in technology consulting, IT strategy, AI advisory, and digital transformation are required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in technology consulting, strategy, or transformation roles.
• Strong grounding in IT strategy, AI advisory, and digital transformation.
• Exposure to AI/ GenAI use cases and a clear point of view on where it creates value.
• Experience owning workstreams or entire engagements in lean teams.
• Ability to operate in unstructured environments with complete ownership.
• Strong problem-solving, storytelling, and client‑facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Client Outcomes: Partner closely with CXOs to define technology and AI transformation priorities; translate business goals into pragmatic, executable technology strategy and roadmaps; lead end-to-end engagements—from diagnosis to implementation oversight and support; bring structure to ambiguity and drive measurable business impact.
• Drive Technology Strategy & Transformation: Define enterprise Technology strategy, digital and AI transformation roadmap aligned to business goals; develop operating models to enable AI-first strategy and product-centric delivery; conduct enterprise technology maturity assessments and translate findings into prioritized action plans; shape GenAI and Agentic AI strategies grounded in business use cases; identify, prioritize, and scale high-value AI opportunities; bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and enterprise adoption; drive technology cost takeout and tech debt reduction; develop business cases, value realization frameworks, and investment strategies; work with client teams to translate strategy into execution.
• Build the Practice: Support business development—from shaping proposals to closing deals; develop differentiated points of view related to emerging technologies and transformation; mentor team members and help build a high-performing, entrepreneurial team; play an active role in defining “what we do next” as a practice

How you will contribute
