Mann in Bangalore seeks a Manager – Technical Support After Sales to lead technical service activities for water and process applications. You will supervise project documentation, pilot trials, and collaboration with sales for tender support and customer presentations.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in Environmental/Process/Chemical Engineering, fluent English/Hindi with local language advantage, and at least 5 years in plant construction or membrane technology.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Research revenue generation options (tenders, replacements, service with existing customers).
• Prepare project-specific technical documentation and drawings; maintain and review project CAD/technical files.
• Support sales in acquiring new customers through technical and sales-focused presentations.
• Provide technical service for projects, including pilot trials, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer feedback.

• Research regarding possible revenue generation (e.g. tenders, competitor replacement, replacement/service with existing customers, etc.)
• Researching project-specific details in the project award phase (e.g. competition situation)
• Initiate and conduct the pilot trials for the new applications / new products.
• Compilation of project-specific technical documentation (e.g. in the course of tenders)
• Independent creation/adaptation of missing project-specific technical documentation
• Preparation of product-specific documents(e.g. case studies, product presentations, competitive comparison, etc.)
• Managing and reviewing project specific drawings
• Process engineering design / calculation of the entire process for specific projects
• Calculation and valuation of complete plants with regard to OPEX/CAPEX

Sales and product management support

• Supporting the sales department in acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customers (by telephone and/or in personal contact with travel activities): Presentation of the products both from a technical point of view and from a sales perspective
• Taking over the sales support of individual customers. Strategic planning of offers based on customer- or project-specific features in coordination with sales and product management
• Support of product management (e.g. preparation of turnover/sales overviews)

Technical Service

• Project / Replacement / Troubleshooting list maintenance
• Independent follow-up of systems already in operation with evaluation of the operating data. In case of conspicuous parameters, contacting the customer and initiating troubleshooting in water and process application
• Report Tech Service relevant customer feedback
• Support in the preparation of customer documents.

Experience

• Completed studies e.g. Bachelor or Master Environmental Engineering / Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge of English, Hindi, local language advantageous. Knowledge of membrane technology in Water and Process application
• At least 5 years of professional experience in plant construction/engineering service provider (technical area or sales) and/or membrane technology handling water and process applications.
