Job summary

Lupin Ltd in Mumbai’s Santacruz area seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead technology transfer initiatives, including NPLs, site transfers, and API/excipients AVD. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination and end-to-end project oversight.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage governance, and drive risk mitigation across R&D, Production, QA, RA and Supply Chain to ensure timely, compliant transfers and site alignment.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in Technology Transfer / PDL / Project Management roles.
• Exposure to multi-site or global transfers preferred.
• Graduation in Pharmacy or Science; MBA/PG in Pharmacy or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor technology transfer projects including New Product Launch (NPL), Site Transfers, API & Excipients AVD.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones aligned with business priorities.
• Track progress through governance (stage-gate / milestone reviews) and ensure adherence to timelines and scope.
• Act as the point of coordination across CFT (R&D, PDL, Production, QA, QC, RA, Supply Chain, Procurement).
• Drive alignment between sending and receiving sites for seamless transfer execution.
• Identify technical, operational, and regulatory risks early and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead escalation management and ensure timely resolution of project bottlenecks.
• Support troubleshooting during scale-up, exhibit, and validation batches.
• Align project priorities with portfolio, launch plans, and supply chain requirements.
• Ensure product availability by delivering transfers within defined timelines.
