Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end financial operations for Gurgaon-based business units. You will manage AR/AP, GL, billing, revenue recognition, and ensure timely monthly closures from in-house finance teams.

You’ll drive cash flow planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting to leadership, while ensuring GST, TDS compliance, audits, and robust internal controls. Local candidates only, in-office role with 5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• End-to-end finance operations ownership across AR/AP/GL and billing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end finance and accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, billing, collections, revenue recognition, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and timely closure of books.
• Drive financial planning and reporting by preparing monthly financial statements, MIS, budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable business insights for management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and company investments, ensuring optimal utilization of funds and maintaining healthy reserves.
• Ensure statutory compliance and taxation including GST, TDS, reconciliations, audits, and timely submission of statutory reports while maintaining strong financial controls.
• Monitor and drive D2C and marketplace financial performance including profitability, contribution margins, channel economics, and key financial metrics to support business decisions.
• Lead finance process improvement and automation through ERP/Tally, oversee ESOP administration, financial documentation, and coordinate with auditors, consultants, and legal/secretarial teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3+ years in Finance & Accounting, Controllership, or Financial Management.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end finance operations (A/R, A/P, GL, GL, billing, collections, revenue recognition, monthly book closure).
• Hands-on experience in cash flow management, working capital, fund planning, and profitability analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits, and financial controls.
• Experience in inventory and cost accounting, preferably in product-led or inventory-heavy businesses.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting tools for automation.
• Domain Preference: Candidates from D2C, E-commerce, FMCG, Consumer Internet, Retail, Wellness, Health, Beauty, Personal Care, Nutrition, or other high-growth consumer brands.
