Job summary

Ohmium is seeking a highly experienced test engineering leader in Bengaluru to develop and execute system-level validation and verification across Ohmium products. You will design automation, analyze results, and drive quality improvements in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, QA, and PM teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8–15 years in industrial/system testing, plus scripting and data acquisition skills, with renewable energy exposure as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 8–15 years in system testing, validation, verification and test automation.
• Experience developing test plans, executing validation programs, analyzing test data, and generating technical reports.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, driving technical execution and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Experience with automated test systems, data acquisition systems, scripting, and test framework development.
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support root cause investigations and failure analysis activities, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Generate detailed test reports and communicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Support certification, compliance, and regulatory testing activities as required for product qualification and market readiness.
• Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
• Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Qualification:

• Minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in system testing, validation, verification and test automation in industrial, energy, automotive, aerospace, process industries or related engineered systems environments.


• Experience developing test plans, executing validation programs, analyzing test data, and generating technical reports.


• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, driving technical execution and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization


• Experience with automated test systems, data acquisition systems, scripting, and test framework development.


• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus.
