Job summary

ADCI HYD 13 SEZ in Hyderabad, India is seeking a senior engineering leader to define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for Speed Tech platforms. You will guide AI adoption, recruit and coach engineers, and ensure scalable, low-latency systems that power global delivery experiences.

You will collaborate with product and science teams to deliver high-quality software, manage incidents, and uphold engineering excellence across multiple domains in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Responsibilities

• Drive generative AI and agentic system adoption across your teams, partnering with Science and Product to build intelligent, scalable experiences across the full speed shopping lifecycle.
• Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams across multiple domains, recruiting top talent, coaching engineers, and building a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• Work across the organization to deliver the best in-class delivery experience for our customers while balancing critical business objectives
• Build software that easily extends to meet the high growth of Amazon's delivery business and capabilities
• Own and operate mission critical services that are highly reliable and highly low latency. Own operational health of your systems and teams driving incident reduction, defining SLAs, and championing a data-driven culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

You will lead in a fast-paced environment, guiding a team of smart software engineers to architect and develop the right technical solutions to meet the needs of the business. You will be in charge of the complete software development lifecycle: defining, prioritizing, designing, building, and testing new features. We care about both delighting customers and high quality software; we don’t sacrifice one for the other. We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated track record of hiring and leading teams of software development engineers to build and run highly-scalable, global software solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
