Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Bengaluru seeks an Energy & Utility Program Management Lead to drive energy optimization across electrical, HVAC and utility systems, using consumption data to identify savings opportunities.

You will coordinate with facilities management and engineering teams, oversee EMS audits and ISO certifications, and deliver dashboards on energy, water, waste and carbon metrics. This on-site role in Bengaluru demands a 48-hour weekly schedule.

Job description

Energy & Utility Program Management Lead energy optimization programs across electrical, HVAC, and utility systems — using consumption data to identify savings opportunities, benchmark performance, and drive corrective action with FM and engineering teams. Track renewable energy utilization, including PPA-sourced supply, and drive progress toward green energy targets. Environmental Compliance & Certifications Manage Environmental Management System (EMS) audits and statutory compliance (e.g., ISO 14001/50001), and support green building certification processes (e.g., IGBC) — maintaining documentation and liaising with certification bodies and regulators as needed. Data, Reporting & ESG Oversee utility and sustainability data collection, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting on energy, water, waste, and carbon metrics, including CDP submissions. Prepare dashboards and reports for internal leadership and client stakeholders, working with Finance and FM to ensure data integrity. Facilities Management Coordination & Program Delivery Act as the key liaison between sustainability programs and FM, influencing and coordinating FM resource support — often without direct authority — to prioritize initiatives, secure delivery capacity, and execute energy, waste, and compliance projects across sites. Waste Management & Site Programs Oversee waste segregation, training, and audit programs, and champion eco-friendly workplace initiatives (e.g., energy-efficient lighting, recycling) in coordination with site and business unit teams. Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement Serve as a trusted advisor on energy and environmental matters, communicate progress and success stories to build program engagement, and bring forward innovative ideas to improve sustainability performance.
