Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mulund West, Mumbai, seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience to lead audit engagements for mid-to-large clients. You will oversee statutory and tax audits, mentor a team of interns, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with statutory audit, tax audit, and ITR filings, along with a track record of coordinating with clients and improving audit processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience, preferably in CA firms or consulting houses.
• Hands-on experience in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit for mid-to-large clients.
• Independently manage Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings, with mentoring capabilities.

Job Description:

• Lead a team of 4-5 interns, allocate tasks and oversee audit engagements to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Plan, execute and monitor statutory audits and tax audits while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Independently Manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for mid to Large size clients.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and tax computations to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Ensure timely completion of audits by setting deadlines, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining coordination with clients.
• Identify audits risks, suggest process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices in audit methodology.
• Coordinate with clients for audit requirement, address their queries, and provide value added recommendations.
• Mentor and train team members, review their work and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ideal candidate should be able to independently manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for listed entities.

Preferred Profile:

• Prefer candidates who has been managing teams, working for Mid to Large Clients, hands on experience on Statutory Audit & Tax Audit.
• Prefer from CA Firm / Consulting firm / Law Firms etc.
