Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a qualified CA to lead a team of interns in audit engagements in Mumbai. The role focuses on planning, executing statutory and tax audits, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Ideal candidates will independently manage audits for mid to large clients, review working papers, and mentor junior staff to deliver high-quality results while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with valid certification.
• Experience leading audit engagements.
• Ability to plan, execute and monitor statutory audits and tax audits.

• Review audit working papers, financial statements and tax computations.
• Ensure timely completion of audits by setting deadlines and coordinating with clients.
• Identify audit risks and suggest process improvements.
• Coordinate with clients for audit requirements and provide recommendations.
• Mentor and train team members to deliver high-quality deliverables.

– Plan, execute and monitor statutory audits and tax audits while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

– Independently manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for mid to large size clients.

– Review audit working papers, financial statements and tax computations to ensure completeness and correctness.

– Ensure timely completion of audits by setting deadlines, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining coordination with clients.

– Identify audit risks, suggest process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices in audit methodology.

– Coordinate with clients for audit requirements, address their queries, and provide value added recommendations.

– Mentor and train team members, review their work and ensure high-quality deliverables.

– Ideal candidate should be able to independently manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for listed entities.
