Job summary

Coppergate is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead a team of 4-5 interns, assigning tasks and overseeing audit engagements for accuracy and efficiency.

The role involves planning, executing and monitoring statutory and tax audits, reviewing working papers and tax computations, and mentoring the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Based in Mumbai, only candidates living in Mumbai should apply.

Qualifications

• CA with 5+ years post-qualification experience in auditing and taxation.
• Ability to independently manage statutory & tax audits and ITR filings for listed entities.
• Experience reviewing audit working papers and financial statements for completeness and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Independently Manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for mid to Large size clients.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and tax computations to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Ensure timely completion of audits by setting deadlines, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining coordination with clients.
• Identify audits risks, suggest process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices in audit methodology.
• Coordinate with clients for audit requirement, address their queries, and provide value added recommendations.
• Mentor and train team members, review their work and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Chartered Account
• Experience:5+Years (post qualification exp)
• Should be able to independently manage and execute Statutory & Tax Audits and ITR filings for listed entities.
