Job summary

Trintech is seeking an LE Engineering/Engineering Manager to lead software development and QA teams. The role combines technical leadership with people management across on‑prem and cloud apps, with emphasis on .NET/Java, microservices, and API‑first design.

Trintech is an award‑winning AI‑driven Fintech SaaS organization transforming the way finance teams operate. Our Large Enterprise (LE) Engineering/Engineering Manager is a technical people‑leadership role responsible for leading our software development and QA professionals.

Stack

Our LE financial close solutions use Microsoft (.NET) and Java, relational databases on MS SQL Server, and are architected with micro‑services and API‑first patterns to support scalability and security.

What You Will Do

• Build engineering teams in a competitive market and manage global teams on skillset and competency expectations.
• Train, coach, and guide team members to establish new Scrum teams in collaboration with global teams.

• Interface with senior management to report on project and program milestones and present project progress reports.
• Stay abreast of the latest server‑focused technology trends and standards.
• Lead career development planning and performance discussions for team members.
• Induct and onboard new team members.
• Own performance appraisal responsibilities for the team under guidance of supervisor/HR.
• Identify and groom new leaders in the technical area for higher responsibilities.
• Recruit, hire, and attract talent.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software product development.
• 10+ years of industry experience in on‑premises and cloud applications.
• 4+ years of experience in offshore product development with global teams.
• Hands‑on experience using .NET/Java and related open‑source technologies to build enterprise‑class web applications.
• Advised ability to experiment with new technologies, including AI, startup setups, quick prototyping, and define overall approach to drive project delivery.
• Strong experience with performance, scalability, distributed caching, and web services.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting SaaS applications in private/public cloud environments.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• 3+ years of project and people management experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Process compliance in performing assigned tasks and ensuring quality of project deliverables.
• Drive new process ideas, champion AI initiatives, and build the team.
