Role Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and the experience it can create to join our Move Money development team. This is an opportunity to work on an innovative money movement platform while building reliable, scalable, and advanced solutions to help our clients take ownership of their financial futures. You’ll support complex software design tasks in an agile environment while collaborating across user experience, business, and technology partners. Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java frameworks ensuring code quality and scalability.
• Use AI tools to help accelerate all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Support and triage issues and participate in production support to help develop resilient and secure systems to prevent issues that impact on our clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices in .NET/Java environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery
• Contribute to the architectural design and deployment of applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in .NET/Java.

Required Qualification

• Proficient in web and service development skills, typically built through 5-7 years of applicable experience developing in .Net Core/C# and Java
• Experience in understanding and developing using C# and Java technologies
• Experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based web service API(s) in a transaction processing environment
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry and/or GCP/Azure
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) including designing and performance tuning
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) techniques
• Experience participating as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Leverages AI tooling to improve quality and speed of delivery in the software development lifecycle
• Prior experience developing software in a highly regulated financial services environment
