Job summary

DU Tech is seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineer in Test in Chennai to lead SDET delivery, quality engineering, and performance testing. You will translate business priorities into plans, establish governance, and drive a high-performing team that delivers reliable, scalable software.

You will guide a team responsible for test automation, CI/CD integration, and release confidence, while building partnerships across product, architecture, security, and data teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, Spark Structured Streaming, and Databricks workflows - Lakeflow.
• Capable of developing streaming data pipelines using PySpark APIs / Scala Spark APIs (version 3+), Lakeflow concepts, Unity Catalog features
• Capable of coding with or without AI assistants
• Experience designing and supporting data pipelines; working in cross-functional or matrix organizations.
