Job summary

Adani is seeking a senior security leader to command the Dhubri power plant's physical security, ensuring 24/7 protection of critical infrastructure, personnel, and assets.

You will design threat perception strategies, oversee the on-site security team, integrate surveillance and access control systems, coordinate with law enforcement, and lead investigations, drills, and crisis response while ensuring compliance with corporate security mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory.
• Advanced certifications in Industrial Security Management, Disaster Management, or Criminology are highly preferred.
• 12+ years of total professional experience in security operations.
• Direct experience in managing industrial security environments, labor relations, material movement, and perimeter security in remote or sensitive locations.
• Ex-servicemen with SSC ranks (Major, Lieutenant Commander, Squadron Leader, Deputy Commandant, or Deputy Superintendent of Police) with 10–12 years of service will be considered.

Job description

Command and manage the entire physical security apparatus for the Dhubri power plant, ensuring 24/7 protection of critical infrastructure, personnel, and material assets.

Design and operationalize comprehensive threat perception strategies and vulnerability assessments specific to the unique geographical and operational context of Assam.

Oversee the deployment, training, and operational readiness of the on-site security workforce, ensuring high discipline and rapid response capabilities.

Direct the integration and daily monitoring of advanced electronic surveillance systems, perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS), and access control mechanisms.

Coordinate seamlessly with local law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and district administration to gather proactive intelligence and mitigate external threats.

Formulate and execute robust crisis management and emergency evacuation protocols, conducting regular mock drills for chemical, fire, or physical intrusion scenarios.

Lead investigations into any security breaches, material theft, or operational disruptions, ensuring detailed root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.

Enforce strict adherence to Adani Group's corporate security framework and statutory compliance mandates related to industrial security.

12+ years of total professional experience in security operations.

Direct experience in managing high-stakes industrial security environments, specifically handling labor relations, material movement, and perimeter security in remote or sensitive locations.

Ex-servicemen holding a Short Service Commission (SSC) rank such as Major, Lieutenant Commander, Squadron Leader, Deputy Commandant, or Deputy Superintendent of Police, with 10-12 years of service experience, will also be considered for this role.
