Job summary

Adani is seeking an experienced security professional for the Parsa Coal Mine in Chhattisgarh to oversee site security operations, surveillance, and incident response.

You will implement access control protocols, monitor plant activities, coordinate with law enforcement, AESG, and external providers, and develop contingency plans for uninterrupted coal transportation.

Qualification: Bachelor's in Security Management or related field; CPP/PSP/CISM preferred; 8–10 years in security leadership.

• Certifications in Security Operations (CPP, PSP, CISM, or equivalent) are preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in site security management, physical security operations, or law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated surveillance and CCTV for continuous monitoring of plant area.
• Employ automated security measures to control personnel, material, and movement within mining premises.
• Establish access control protocols to regulate entry and exit points within mining premises.
• Implement a combination of technical and physical security measures to safeguard critical areas.
• Enhance surveillance capabilities through integration of advanced security technologies.
• Monitor plant activities to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats to mining operations.
• Extend vigilance to surrounding areas to prevent unauthorized access or intrusions.
• Develop contingency plans to address railway security threats and ensure uninterrupted coal transportation operations.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent white-collar crimes and unauthorized activities within the plant premises.
• Promptly investigate security breaches or incidents and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
• Establish effective communication with local authorities, government agencies, and community leaders to address security-related issues and concerns.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to address security-related issues and support legal activities related to security incidents and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing mine security operations.
• Coordinate with the legal team to align security measures with legal standards and leverage legal instruments effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

Establish effective communication channels with local authorities, government agencies, and community leaders to address security-related issues and concerns.

Collaborate with external stakeholders to address security-related issues and support legal activities related to security incidents and compliance.

Legal Team Coordination and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing mine security operations.
