Job summary

Deloitte & Touche GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is seeking a senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) leader in India to define and own the MDG strategy, roadmaps, and governance. You will drive implementation across multiple master data domains, establish standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and regulatory alignment.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise master data governance initiatives and transformation programs.
• Experience leading SAP MDG ownership, implementation, or capability leadership.
• Experience working with multiple master data domains (Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Product).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the SAP MDG strategy, roadmap, and capability priorities.
• Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP MDG solutions across key master data domains.
• Establish and govern master data processes, policies, standards, workflows, and controls.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align master data requirements with business objectives and regulatory needs.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and governance across enterprise master data landscapes.
• Drive process standardization and adoption of best practices for master data creation, maintenance, approval, and stewardship.
• Manage demand intake, prioritization, release planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Coordinate with functional, data, integration, analytics, and technology teams to ensure end-to-end data governance alignment.
• Oversee operational support, incident resolution, service performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define and monitor KPIs, data quality metrics, compliance measures, and service performance indicators.
• Lead governance forums and stakeholder discussions to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships where applicable.

• Experience managing global stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and operational support environments.
• Experience working with multiple master data domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, or Product master data.
