Job summary

Aakash Educational Services (AESL) is seeking a Revenue Assurance Analyst to monitor, validate, and reconcile financial data, ensuring accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. You will collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement processes, develop dashboards, and lead investigations into revenue anomalies.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel, and SQL expertise, with 5–7 years of relevant experience. This is an on-site opportunity in Gurugram, Haryana.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in revenue assurance or accounting roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, validate, and reconcile financial and operational data to identify gap invoicing and deferment leakage.
• Collaborate with IT to implement receipting, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
• Reconcile accounting data with invoice tables based on invoicing and accounting logic; prepare JVs.
• Develop and maintain revenue assurance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor revenue streams to identify discrepancies and process inefficiencies.
• Perform reconciliations between operations, billing platforms, and financial records.
• Lead investigations into revenue anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper functioning of invoicing and accounting code and implement required enhancements.
• Analyze invoice, accounting, and revenue recognition logics and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Support UAT for dashboards and reports; identify bugs or scope for ERP process improvements.
• Analyze revenue trends, variances, and KPIs to support business decisions.
• Month-end closing and coordination with internal and statutory audits.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and evidence related to revenue assurance.
• Develop dashboards and management reports to provide revenue insights and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize revenue processes and minimize losses.

Job Descriptions:

Monitor, validate, and reconcile financial and operational data streams to identify gap invoicing, receipting, and deferment leakage points.

• Good knowledge in accounting and advanced Excel, SQL
• Collaborating with the IT team to implement the processes of receipting, invoicing, and revenue recognition in the system
• Reconcile the Accounting Data with the Invoice Table on the basis of Invoicing logic & Accounting Logic, and preparation of JV's. Prepare GL reconciliations as per the requirement
• Develop, implement, and maintain revenue assurance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor revenue streams to identify discrepancies, leakages, and process inefficiencies.
• Perform regular reconciliations between operational systems, billing platforms, and financial records.
• Lead investigations into revenue anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensuring the correct functioning of the Invoicing and Accounting code, and responsible for the required enhancements as per requirements
• Analyzing the Logics of Invoice, Accounting, Revenue Recognition & suggesting & implementing the new logic or improvement in logics as per business needs
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and billing.
• Supporting in UAT for Dashboards, Automation of Reports, Identifying the Bug or scope of any improvement in any ERP process, and doing the UAT of the same.
• Analyze revenue trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decisions.
• Month-end closing and liaising with internal and Statutory audit
• Support audits by preparing documentation, reports, and evidence related to revenue assurance activities.
• Develop dashboards and management reports to provide insights into revenue performance and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize revenue processes and minimize losses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent are preferred with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
