Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of revenue assurance experience in IT/ITES to oversee revenue processes for projects. You will audit internal controls across the revenue cycle and ensure accurate accounting and billing.

Strong knowledge of IND AS 115, expertise in SAP, Excel, Power Pivot and Power BI are essential. Excellent communication and understanding of project delivery life cycle are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2/3 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates should be from IT/ITES industry (mandatory).
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of business, delivery processes and project delivery life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience on Revenue Assurance process in an IT/ITES or engineering company.
• Identify and address revenue risks and leakage; audit internal controls across the revenue cycle.
• Maintain very good knowledge of IND AS 115.
• Account for revenues for different types of projects.
• Track invoice progress and credit notes.
• Ensure WIP is maintained at minimum and target unbilled DSO.
• Account for provisions relating to discounts, warranties and other contract risks.
• Exposure to ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Expert knowledge in MS Excel, Power Pivot, BI and Power BI.

Role & responsibilities

• Hands on experience on Revenue Assurance process in an IT, ITES or an engineering company.
• Will be responsible for ensuring that revenue risks & any potential revenue leakage is timely identified and addressed, implementing established processes to audit internal controls across the entire revenue cycle.
• Very good knowledge of IND AS 115.
• Accounting and booking of revenues for different type of projects.
• Tracking of Invoice Progress and credit notes.
• Ensure WIP is maintained at minimum level and strive to achieve targeted unbilled DSO
• Accounting for provision relating to Discount, warranty and other contract related risk and liabilities.
• Exposure to ERP systems specifically SAP.
• Expert knowledge in MS Excel, Power Pivot, BI and Power BI.
