Job summary

The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company is seeking a Resource Management professional to oversee resource planning and policy implementation within the BU, ensuring seamless serviceability.

You will coordinate with internal teams (HC, engineering and operations), facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to track progress, and prepare operator performance reports for the Operations Manager and HOD, while driving process improvements to minimize overtime and boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Resource management: implement policies to ensure seamless serviceability.
• Serve as primary contact between internal stakeholders for resource planning and allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (HC, engineering & operations).
• Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to track progress and provide updates.
• Maintain monthly operator incentive and productivity sheets.
• Prepare and present operator performance reports to Operations Manager and HOD.
• Identify and implement process improvements to minimize overtime and optimize performance.

Job description

Resource Management:

To ensure implementation of overall resource management process in the BU by effectively implementing policies and procedures laid down by the organization for ensuring seamless serviceability in the Unit. .

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders for resource planning & allocation.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HC, engineering & operations)

Facilitate regular meetings with primary stakeholders to track progress, address concerns, and provide updates

Maintain Monthly operator incentive calculation sheet.

Maintain Monthly operator productivity sheet

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and present regular reports on operator performance to Operations Manager and the HOD.

Process Improvement & Risk Management & Safety.

Identify and implement process improvements to minimize operator overtime and also optimize performance.
