Selections HR Services Private Limited seeks a Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to lead end-to-end R2R operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

You will coordinate with P2P and O2C teams to manage intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, driving efficient financial reporting and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end R2R operations including GL, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations, and close.
• Manage month-, quarter-, year-end close with emphasis on quality and on-time completion.
• Review reconciliations and resolve aged/open items.
• Governance of suspense and control accounts and intercompany differences.
• Ensure proper review and documentation of journals and reconciliations.
• Support statutory and internal audits and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with P2P and O2C teams to resolve differences before close.
• Understand impact of operations on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.

Job Title: Manager – Record to Report (R2R)

Cross-Functional Knowledge: Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C)

Role Purpose

The R2R Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end Record to Report operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, strong financial controls, and adherence to month-end/quarter-end/year-end close requirements.

The role requires strong R2R expertise along with sound knowledge of P2P and O2C processes to effectively manage upstream/downstream dependencies, drive issue resolution, strengthen controls, and improve overall finance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities :

R2R Operations & Financial Close

• Own end-to-end R2R operations including General Ledger, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial close.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with focus on quality, accuracy, and on-time completion.
• Review balance-sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of aged/open items.
• Drive governance around suspense accounts, control accounts, intercompany differences, and reconciliation breaks.
• Ensure appropriate review, approval and documentation of journals and account reconciliations.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit, and financial reporting requirements.

P2P & O2C Integration

• Possess good working knowledge of P2P processes, including AP accounting, invoice processing, vendor payments, GR/IR, debit balances, vendor reconciliation, and AP aging.
• Understand O2C processes, including billing, cash application, collections, AR aging, unapplied cash, credit management, and customer account reconciliation.
• Manage dependencies between P2P/O2C sub-ledgers and the General Ledger.
• Work with P2P and O2C teams to resolve accounting differences before financial close.
• Understand the impact of operational transactions on P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, and working capital.
