Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd in Pune is seeking a Manager - R&D (MV) with 10+ years of experience in medium voltage switchgear R&D and design. The role requires hands-on CAD modelling in multiple 3D suites and proficiency with 2D drafting for GIS/AIS products.

You will contribute to development, testing coordination in labs, and interface with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MV switchgear R&D and design.
• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and time management.
• Proficient in 2D CAD and 3D modelling with listed tools.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards for MV GIS/AIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop MV switchgear designs and drawings for R&D projects.
• Carry out type tests in CPRI/ERDA/International labs.
• Create sheet metal and fabrication part drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Perform 3D modelling using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, UG-NX or Creo.
• Prepare 2D CAD layouts of MV GIS in 2D.

Job Description

• Candidate must have work experience of Medium Voltage/High Voltage switchgear R&D and Mechanical designs & drawings and demonstrated his/her capabilities for the development of MV Switchgear in past.
• Candidate should have experience to carry out the type tests in CPRI/ERDA/International labs.
• Candidate should have experience of Sheet Metal/ Fabrication parts & manufacturing drawings
• Candidate must have hands-on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software.
