Job summary

Legrand is seeking a seasoned Manager of Quality Assurance to supervise QA activities for BBT/IT racks and DBs in data centers. You will oversee material quality, in-process and finished goods, and on-site installations, ensuring compliance with IEC 61439 standards and customer requirements.

You will lead audits, train QA staff, and collaborate with production to maintain high standards, while staying updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the electrical/Switchgear industry.
• Strong knowledge of IEC & Indian Standards, quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience in leading and managing critical processes, customer inspections.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools, SPC, SQC.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
