Job summary

Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Manager - Quality at its Ahmednagar, India facility. The role requires 5–8 years of BE Electrical and hands-on supplier quality leadership to ensure conforming parts and robust processes.

You will drive APQP/PPAP activities, perform root cause analysis using 8D/5 Why, and lead audits to improve supplier performance across the value chain.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements.
• 5–8 years of experience in quality management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & evaluate supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Handle supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs.
• Participate in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and Process Validation activities
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Supplier Audits, Flash Audit, Special process Audits & Part validation

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Monitor & evaluate supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Handle supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs.

Technical Competencies

• SAP awareness
• Must have expertise in Lean , six sigma, Poka-yoke, Kaizen
• Hands on experience in use of various QC tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Operational Responsibility

• Ability to travel to supplier locations as required.
• Customer Complaint Reduction Related to Supplier Parts.
• Supplier Corrective Action Closure Effectiveness.
• SPC for parts
