Role Manager QA/QC Manager

Location Hyderabad, India

Position Summary

The QA Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the Quality Assurance processes to ensure the quality, integrity, and safety of materials and structures throughout the construction, maintenance, and inspection phases of projects. This role involves conducting audits, publishing reports, and controlling C recording NCR, FOR and Surveillance.

The position will also be responsible for identifying recurring quality issues, supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and driving continual improvement in project quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Control:
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
• Review all QA documents like Project Quality Plan, Project Quality Matrix, Project Quality Assurance Plan, procedures and attend quality audits at Vendor/EPCM.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare comprehensive QA reports, including audit results, observations, and photographs (when applicable.)
• Document all QA procedures, non-conformities , and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate, traceable of records and up-to-date quality records and documentation including audit reports.
• Ensure timely submission and close-out of required final documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Training and Development:
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate and conduct internal audit training sessions to improve the knowledge and skillset of the QA/QC team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Desired Skills

• Lead Auditor/internal Auditor with experience
• Knowledge in ISO 9001: 2015. Ability to interpret ISO 9001:2015 requirements and assess their implementation within engineering, fabrication, construction, inspection, and project execution activities.
• Knowledge and awareness of all codes and standards
• Proven experience in QA/QC within the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors, preferred.

Work Environment

• This position may involve working on-site at construction or manufacturing locations and may require occasional travel.
