Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to develop and execute purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead a team of buyers. The role focuses on timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

You will oversee contract negotiations, supplier evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive procurement excellence and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree desirable.
• 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Good English communications skills – written & verbal.
• Strong project-management skills.
• Computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft-Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of buyers and other purchasing staff, providing guidance on procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

• Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits
• Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

Time Travel Required

• Travel to different office or plants locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.
