Job summary

Ion Exchange in Bengaluru is seeking a Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals for wastewater treatment services, AMC, O&M, refurbishment and retrofitting.

You will review RFQs and tender documents to identify project requirements, develop process solutions (ion exchange, RO, UF, DM, softening, ETP, STP and ZLD), and coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations and sales for costing and proposal preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing techno-commercial proposals for wastewater treatment projects.
• Review RFQs, tender documents, and specs to capture project requirements.
• Develop process solutions involving ion exchange systems, RO, UF, DM, softening, ETP, STP, and ZLD.
• Coordinate with process engineering, procurement, operations and sales for costing and proposals.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, pricing strategies and commercial documents.
• Support sales with technical presentations, bid clarifications, and customer discussions.
• Participate in technical negotiations and ensure compliance with specs.
• Maintain proposal docs, templates, and cost databases.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to boost competitiveness.
• Monitor tender submission schedules and ensure timely completion of all proposal activities.
