Job summary

Capital One India invites an experienced Manager, Product Management for AI/ML Model Governance to join the MLX team in Bengaluru. You will lead the product vision and strategy for governance across GenAI and enterprise ML platforms, shaping how data scientists and ML engineers interact with our systems.

You will work with business and technology stakeholders, prioritize solving high-impact problems, and collaborate with teams in India and the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology.
• 8+ years in the tech industry.
• 5+ years in product management.
• 3+ years building Enterprise AI/ML platform products or AI/ML powered products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for AI/ML governance.
• Understand needs of data scientists, ML engineers, and model risk officers.
• Collaborate with business and technology leadership to prioritize problems to maximize outcomes.
• Coordinate with teams in India and the USA to align on platform delivery.
• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
• Maintain a healthy backlog and participate in agile ceremonies.

We’re looking to hire a Manager, Product Management for AI/ML Model Governance to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team!

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for your area of responsibility
• Deeply understand the needs of data scientists, machine learning engineers and model risk officers across Capital One
• Partner with business and technology leadership to align on prioritization of key problems to be solved to maximize business and customer outcomes
• Collaborate with teams in India and USA to drive alignment with different teams working on the platform
• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design
• Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.
• Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments
• Serve as the connection between Customers, Capital One’s mission, and Tech. Partners

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology.
• At least 8 years of work experience in tech industry
• At least 5 years of experience in product management.
• At least 3 years of experience in building Enterprise AI/ML platform products or AI/ML powered products for enterprises.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in building enterprise platform products with focus on AI/ML Model Governance, AI/ML Model Risk Management and Automation OR should have worked on LLM-powered co-pilot, agent assist capabilities.
• Experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.
• Experience in Data Science or Business Analytics.
