Job description

Role Overview

You will be responsible for owning the Sourcing team for specific Marketing categories within Procurement Operations. Your team will be located across Diageo GBO offices in Budapest, Bangalore, Manila, Bogota, or other global locations. Your duties will include e-sourcing, contract management, spend analysis, procurement decision support, and acting as the Point of Contact for one or two Diageo regions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure processes, ways of working, and service level agreements are met. Additionally, you will participate in cross‑functional teams to develop and improve sourcing practices, especially in Coupa e-sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with key Procurement stakeholders, Diageo business stakeholders, and suppliers
• Manage procurement operations activities including e-sourcing, contract management, spend analysis, and procurement decision support
• Develop strategic sourcing activities for Marketing categories such as Creative & Digital Agencies, Media Buying, Production, POSM, Events, Branding, Market Research, and Promotional Services
• Partner with various departments to understand demand pipelines, campaign priorities, and procurement requirements
• Coach team members on e-sourcing standard methodologies and category/assigned spend strategy development
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, lead continuous improvement projects, and support enterprise‑wide transformation
• Liaise with regional and global procurement teams for Procurement Operations related activities
• Create and maintain a high‑achievement and improvement‑oriented team culture
• Monitor team performance, coach members for improved sourcing skills, and build team capability for collaboration with procurement

Qualifications Required

• Degree educated preferably in a business or Procurement related field
• 10+ years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing with Market Category
• Strong analytical, inter‑personal skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, and project management experience
• Proficiency in e‑Sourcing tools, Coupa, and CSO
• Moderate proficiency in contract management
