Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated operational support to the GM by owning coordination threads end-to-end.
• Carry out data verification exercises and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Ensure issues are driven to closure and not missed due to coordination across verticals (Operations, Finance, IT/MIS, Training, Assessment, M&E) and external stakeholders.
• Support the GM in closing out longstanding operational gaps in candidate and center data quality, eligibility compliance, and disbursement tracking.

Job Description

This position is created to provide the GM with dedicatedoperational support — a Manager who can take ownership of specific coordinationthreads, data verification exercises, and stakeholder follow-ups end-to-end,freeing the GM's bandwidth for higher-level decision-making, escalationhandling, and ministry/leadership engagement. The Manager will work as anextension of the GM's office, driving issues to closure rather than merelytracking them, and ensuring nothing material is missed due to the sheer volumeand spread of coordination required across internal verticals (Operations,Finance, IT/MIS, Training, Assessment, M&E) and external stakeholders(States, SSCs, Training Partners, Assessment Agencies).

A significant part of the current mandateinvolves supporting the GM in closing out known, longstanding operational gapsin candidate and center data quality, eligibility compliance, and disbursementtracking — issues that have persisted across scheme phases and requirestructured, sustained effort rather than one-time fixes.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduatein Management, Public Policy, Commerce, Social Sciences, or a relateddiscipline from a recognised institution.
• MBA/PGDM/M.Tech or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Certification/exposureto project management (PMP/Prince2) or government scheme implementation is anadvantage.
