Job summary

Cotiviti in Pune is seeking a Manager to oversee Medical Coding programs and ensure day-to-day operations align with client SLAs. You will coach teams, forecast staffing needs, and monitor performance and timekeeping to drive service delivery.

Responsibilities include developing training materials, implementing process changes, and managing budgets. A CPC certification and extensive E/M coding experience are required for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Life Science preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminologies.
• CPC certification with knowledge of HCPCS, ICD, CPT, and DRG preferred.
• 8–10 years in E&M coding; 3–5 years in a managerial role.

PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are currently seeking a manager to manage Medical Coding programs. His/her

Primary responsibility will be to support and monitor day-to-day work processes and meet production and Service Level Agreements. Assessing and forecasting staffing requirements based on client communication and incoming volume. Should coach team members in achieving team deliverables and accelerate appropriately and as needed. Monitor activities of team members; provide feedback and counsel team members regarding performance, timekeeping, and personnel issues.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation in Life Science preferred
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminologies
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), with knowledge of HCPCS, ICD, CPT, and DRG preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in E&M coding and minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Asst Manager or Manager
